I think it's awesome that the villain is voiced by the guy that played Q, and the season premier didn't fail to entertain me.

I liked how Twilight carried the boulder around for Rarity even though she knew it was a boulder and not a diamond. It's just so in-character for her.

My feelings... entertaining but...

Twilight's breakdown was undeniably at mental disorder levels. I appreciate her friends felt they didn't react as seriously as they should have, but at some point one is letting a nexus of pure magical energy that has self-destructive anxiety issues loose on an unsuspecting populace.

The only episode I've seen all the way through is the Zap-Apple episode. As far as I've seen, the show looks entertaining enough, but it's more fun to watch with my friends than alone for some reason.
